The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. In addition, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators; will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs. Major responsibilities include daily scheduling of warehouse personnel, directing day-to-day warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, managing Storage Buy transactions, warehouse equipment maintenance, warehouse safety programs, training associates on standard operating procedures, handling employee disciplinary processes, coordinating with other departments, completing activity reports, monitoring paperwork flow, resolving discrepancies, executing Storage Buy Audit COP, ensuring proper product staging and storage, overseeing inventory rotation, and performing other related duties as directed by management. Minimum eligibility requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution center, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and availability for extended hours during peak seasons. The job involves physical work including lifting and moving objects, and working in a moderate to noisy warehouse environment.
